Akeem Bundu-Kamara is founder of Lockr Space - a platform to discover and buy sustainable sportswear brands across Europe. He founded the business in December 2020 and has since grown to 16 brands, 200+ products and featured on BBC1’s “The Apprentice”, The Independent and Evening Standard. Having bought a bad piece of sportswear, he embarked on a journey to showcase brands doing better in the space and launched Lockr Space. He was included in the first accelerator programme ran by Barclays Eagle Labs which has helped the continuous growth of the platform with more brands, customers and exciting partnerships including charities, community groups and sport clubs.

Cllr Leslie Ayoola was born and raised in Nottingham, is married, and has two daughters.

He was first was elected in 2015 and again in 2019 (to the Mapperley Ward in Nottingham) and is presently the Assistant Portfolio Holder for Regeneration, Finance and Resources and Children and Young People.  He has a Masters Degree in Youth & Community Development and a BA in Business which explains his passion for entrepreneurship and employment as tools for community empowerment.  He is a UK Fellow (2021 Cohort) of the Acumen Academy which develops leaders to have a great social impact in society.  
Leslie has spent over 25 years working across the private, public and voluntary sectors and has established a number of SME’s and Social Enterprises within the city, thus taking a keen interest in Social Entrepreneurship.  He was subsequently a finalist in the Nottingham Social Enterprise Awards for Social Entrepreneur of the year and Start up Social Enterprise of the year in 2011.
He is the Founder of B-Global (@Bglobalnow - Nottingham’s Black Business Network working with the wider “BAME” Business Community) that seeks to support businesses to help them grow, thrive and increase productivity in order to contribute to their local economies.
In 2008 he established Leslie Ayoola Consultancy (A Management Consultancy that provides business support for SMEs and Third Sector organisations).  He later went on to set up Inspiring Greatness (a social enterprise) specialising in training around Financial Literacy, Employability, Entrepreneurship and Personal Development in 2012 and has been involved in establishing a number of charitable organisations to date.

He has also served as a Public Governor for Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust from 2012- 2016 and is presently a trustee for the Life Skills Education Charity. Diana Chrouch is an ardent advocate for black led businesses that has provided business support services for over 20 years

She is currently special advisor to the All Parliamentary Group for Ethnic Minority Business Owners and chair for the Federation of Small Business national policy for Ethnic Minority Business.  

Diana is a member of UK Finance’s Small Business Advisory Panel which is the trade association for the UK’s banking industry.  Diana also sits on the Business Banking Resolution Service’s SME Liaison Panel which exists to provide a feedback loop about bank complaint handling between SMEs and the resolution service.
Diana is the author of the very well received report “Voice from the Grassroots – Impact of COVID 19 on Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic Business Owners” which was published by the APPG for Ethnic Minority Business Owners in October 2020.  The report highlights a range of issues which ethic minority owned businesses including barriers to accessing tailored business support, procurement contracts, finance and investment.
She was awarded the Woman of Excellence Award by Wintrade 2019 for her tireless work in leading diversity and inclusion strategies.
